Better Now

When I was writing this song, I was kind of just fooling around with my guitar, and having a little fun on a winter night. At times some of the most raw and true thoughts can come out of times when you just sing what’s on your heart.

I feel like there are moments we endure in our walk with Christ in which we can find the strength and the joy to sing of all the great things God has done in our lives, but there are also moments when it can be a struggle. One of the things I love about worship, is that it lifts our perspective to begin to see things the way God sees them. When we lift the name of Jesus above our circumstances, it’s amazing how quickly our perspective on a situation can change.

I encourage you today to read Psalm 119.. yes it’s a long one! But I love how the writer talks about hard times, good times, and seeking God in the midst of it.

I challenge you, whatever your situation, when pain comes your way, turn to the Lord, and ask him for wisdom to see the situation the way He sees it.
