SPIRITUAL MATTERS
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
When we read the Bible, we can find out about human history, but the Bible also contains the voice of God as revealed to certain persons by the authority of God. To understand what was written in the Bible, man cannot just rely on his own mind. In order to understand the content of the Bible, we need the power of God’s Spirit
The Spirit of God gives us insight into what the Bible says. The Spirit of God also empowers us to obey these powerful words. The Word of God is a spiritual matter, and all spiritual matters are only acceptable spiritually and not by human wisdom. That is why we need to pray to God every morning, so that the Holy Spirit will remind us of His Words.
The Word of God and the Holy Spirit will give us growth in our faith to become spiritually mature. Spiritual growth and spiritual maturity can be seen from how we behave when we are facing various problems. Definitely our way of thinking will be different from the world.
When we desire to seek spiritual matters more, our desires for evil and the world will be less. The spiritual matter is a matter that cannot be seen by our physical eyes; it is our investment in eternity. The promise of a spiritual matter will come when we have humility.
When we desire to seek spiritual matters more, our desires for evil and the world will be less.
