Faith Comes By Hearing

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Faith comes by continually hearing the Word of God. Your faith is continually strengthened as you hear and feed yourself the Word of God. What are you feeding yourself? What are you feeding the ground of your heart? What are you meditating on? What are you consistently feeding your heart throughout the day? Are you dwelling on doubt and fear? Are you feeding yourself anxiety and frustration? Choose to feed yourself the Living Word of God. 

Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ puts it this way, “So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).” Choose to diligently study the Word of God. Meditate upon His Word daily. Choose to submit to His Word. Faith is developed and strengthened when you deliberately focus on applying His Word to every aspect of your life. 

Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬ declares, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Consistently hear the message of Christ. Consistently surround yourself with the message of the Gospel. Let His Word come alive within the borders of your heart. Let His Word become a part of every part of your life. Choose to surrender to His Word in every season. Choose to let His Word direct the course of your life.
