Refined Under PressureNäide

Day 09: Fear is No Excuse
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Judges 6:1-40
Reflect
In spite of Gideon hiding from an invading enemy, what does the angel of the Lord call him (v. 12)? What does God ask Gideon, a simple man, to do (v.16)? Why does God instruct Gideon to tear down an altar to a false god and build an altar to the true God before going to war (v.25-27)? In spite of my fears, how does God encourage me to follow him?
Respond
Father, I know that when I trust in you, I can do all that you give me to do. Help me to go forward confident that you are with me. Amen.
