A Leader You Can TrustNäide

Day 07: Divine Medevac
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Luke 7:1-10
Reflect
A centurion was a senior member of the Roman Army who commanded a hundred Soldiers. Today, he would have held the approximate rank of a senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Why did the centurion come to Jesus? What evidence is given that this soldier demonstrated care for others rather than just talk about it? How did the centurion show he understood that Jesus is a Commander and has divine authority and power? What was Jesus' reaction? How are we allowing Jesus to be the Commander of our lives, so He may demonstrate His power and authority?
Respond
Lord Jesus, I trust you completely. Help me to love others as You have loved me. Amen.

About this Plan

Life gives us roles, but not scripts. We need a leader with vision, clear direction, and a willingness to do hard things for the greater good. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to as “Lord,” which means boss or commander. He can give you the guidance to transform every aspect of your life. In this plan, you’ll learn about the life and miracles of Jesus recorded by his first followers.
