“Knowing His Will”

One of the most common struggles for a Christian is knowing what God’s will is. We spend so much time trying to figure out our calling and trying to know what God wants us to do. If we are completely honest, we spend so much time waiting for God to tell us something we want to do, so we do not have to do what He has already asked us to do. There are two very clear things that God is looking for in every person who believes, to be a true worshiper and to go and make disciples of all nations. You do not need a degree and you do not need any special training to do these things. Worship the Lord by surrendering your life to Him, then go. Go where? Go to your school. Go to your work. Go to your home. Go to you friends and family and share the Love of Jesus with them. You are already in a unique place, wherever you are, God can use you to make a difference.

The powerful thing about worship is that it is getting rid of our own desires and taking on the desires of our King. We want to serve Him and do what He wants us to do. True Worship will lead us to action. We will begin to understand God’s will and His desires and we will take a step of faith knowing we haven’t settled for something good, but we are walking in the good, pleasing, and perfect will of the Father.
