I Am Not AshamedSample
I Am Not Ashamed.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 KJV
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What is the Gospel? The Gospel is simply this: Adam, the first man, disobeyed God and as a result — mankind was bound to a life of sin. Mankind needed a Savior to deliver us out of Satan’s hand.
Jesus Christ was born through a virgin and He led a sinless life. He became the Perfect and Ultimate sacrifice. He is the only spotless and acceptable sacrifice to God. When Jesus Christ died — His Blood was presented to God the Father and atoned for our sin. His Blood was the Ultimate payment for the sins of the world. The Blood of Jesus Christ reconciled mankind back to God. When Jesus Christ rose from the grave — He conquered death, hell, and the grave — all Authority was in His Hands. Now Jesus Christ is seated at the right Hand of the Father — in Power and Authority and His Blood speaks even to this day. His Blood intercedes for us. His Blood covers us. His Blood keeps us. His Blood washes us.
Romans 1:16 AMPC declares, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,” Jesus Christ is available to everyone. Those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior can be redeemed from the law of sin and death. Those who accept Him can be delivered from the old man. Those who accept Jesus Christ can be made whole. Romans 1:16 NLT declares, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.”
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior — say this simple prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ.
I thank You that He died and rose just for me. I thank You that His Blood washes me, cleanses me, and makes me whole.
Father, I repent of my sin and accept Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
