Let Hope Rise

When the weather is clear and sunny, there are many days when we can look out our back window and see several colorful hot air balloons slowly rising into the bright blue Colorado sky. 

Today, you may feel like a hot air balloon that is grounded. Things like anxiety, uncertainty, fear, and doubt can literally prevent us from going anywhere.

But Jesus is the burner that creates the hot air that will lift you up during trying times. He will lift you above the circumstances so you can see from His perspective. Seeing life through the eyes of Jesus can make all the difference.

This will allow you to have hope even when there doesn't seem to be a reason to hope.

Like a sea of hot air balloons, as followers of Jesus we can create a kaleidoscope of color that will attract the attention of others. As they begin to notice the peace within us, they will want to know how to find it for themselves.

The next time someone tells you you’re 'full of hot air', take it as a compliment and point to Jesus as your Hope!

“Father, thank you for the gift of Your Spirit that lives in us. You alone bring dead things to life. By Your Spirit, we are given life to the fullest in Christ. We ask that You breathe life into every dead and grounded area of our lives. May You raise others to new life as Your glory shines through us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.”
