The New Testament in 90 DaysSample
Introduction to James
James was the half-brother of Jesus and also a leader in the church in Jerusalem. James did not follow Jesus until after the Resurrection. Even though he delayed in confessing who Jesus was, he was referred to as a great leader in the church.
James probably wrote this letter around A.D. 45-48, and it was written to Jewish Christians. He offers practical steps and advice in this book. James wrote a lot about our actions and how they should follow our faith. He believed that our faith should impact every area of our lives and that we should be a part of the lives of others.
