Seeking His PresenceSample

When we seek, we find. When we draw near, God is faithful to draw near to us. God is not playing a game of "Hide and Seek", but rather if anything its a game of "Seek and Find".

Now that doesn't always look like what we want; in fact, it rarely does. When we walk through a valley season, or we are in the midst of suffering, we can tend to think that if God draws near to us, He will just completely reverse or transform that suffering, those situations, or circumstances. While He can, more often, He is interested in walking through it with us like David says in Psalm 23:4.

In the midst of good seasons and not so good seasons, we can know that when we draw near to God, He draws near to us. His presence is with us. When we seek Him, we will find Him, regardless of the circumstances surrounding us. 

Take a moment this morning to thank God, that no matter what season we are in we can draw near to Him and know He will draw near to us and be with us in the midst of whatever we are facing.

TODAY'S REFLECTION 

When we seek, we find. As we draw near to God, He draws near to us. Regardless of circumstances, His presence in our lives gives us faith and hope to walk forward no matter what. Without His presence, we would be lost and alone. We can draw near to Him today.
