Book of Isaiah

DAY 20 OF 22

A TRUE LIVING RESPONSE

As Christians we are required to live in holiness. Living in holiness is a duty of those who have accepted Jesus and live in Him.

Sin causes separation between us and God. Because of this wall, we will not experience God's favor, protection, help, or salvation; our prayers are not answered.

The Word of God in Isaiah reminds us that sin blocks salvation. Why does sin block salvation? As we know, Jesus has saved us by His life sacrifice and if we are still living in sin then Jesus' efforts to atone for our sins are futile.

If we claim to be children of God but still live in sin then we are actually lying. God cannot work miraculously and wonderfully if we are still living in sin. Let us learn to live in holiness so that God can use us and we can respond the salvation given by God correctly.

We must respond to our God-given salvation correctly with holy lives.
