War In Your Members. 

“From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” James‬ ‭4:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You have not because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. A selfish heart will always desire carnal things. A carnal heart will always desire the things of this world. 

When your heart reflects Christ’s Way of doing things, He will lead your character. Let Christ lead your heart. Let Christ lead your ask. Let Christ lead your desires. Let Christ shape your life. Let Christ lead your footsteps. Delight in Christ’s Way of doing things. 

Mark‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” When your heart lusts after the things of this world — your selfish desires will choke God’s Word. When your heart craves the things of the world — your cravings will choke God’s Way of doing things. Let His Word become fruitful in every area of your life — surrender to Him. Submit your members, ways, and actions over to Christ.
