Lord, give me the divinely empowered ability to maintain my focus on You so fully that I will not miss the slightest cue of Your intention. Let my attentiveness be sensitive and unshakable. Allow me to perceive Your slightest glance or gesture. Permit me to pick out Your slightest whisper even in the midst of hubbub and confusion. Tune my spiritual senses to discern and even anticipate Your activity around me, and give me the wisdom to grasp Your guidance of my responses moment by moment. Thank You for Your constant concern with every detail of life.

Homesickness (Maranatha!)

Father, I join all creation in yearning for the completion of Your redemption. I ache for the fulfillment of the new creation. I crave the perfection of my new body. I hunger and thirst for the day I will see You fully, face to face, in all Your glory. I pine for the renewal of all relationships. I long for the permanent and visceral awareness of Your presence to light the eternal day. My deepest desire is for Your glorious return. Come soon! Maranatha!
