God Is ... Through MatthewSample
God is . . . Bold
Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out all the people buying and selling animals for sacrifice. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves!” Matthew 21:12-13 NLT
God is unashamed. God is not silent. He does not back down from seemingly impossible situations. He makes all things possible for those who believe. He is fearless.
He is just. He will always do what is right and necessary for His people to return to Him. God stands boldly for righteousness and does not allow His name to be abused or stained. With strength from the Holy Spirit, you, too, can have this type of bold faith.
Where do you need to be bold for the kingdom of God? Are there circumstances that require you to take a stand?
Prayer:
Dear God, help me to be bold in my faith. Let me be part of a generation that is bold and fearless for the sake of Your name. Help me to believe all things are possible. May I stand in confidence to walk unswervingly in Your power and truth. Amen in Jesus’ name.
