RESILIENCE

DAY 1 OF 7

Everybody’s doing it. Everybody’s going. Top influencers say it’s ok, and well-known people do it all the time. It’s no harm in doing it; what’s wrong with you? Making the resolution to firmly stand in God-honoring resilience will provoke antagonists to attack your God-honoring actions by aiming to influence you to give up and turn away from trusting in God’s promises for your life. You never claimed you were perfect, but you made up in your mind that you would be Resilient in trusting God’s way no matter the cost, even if it means being labeled as an outcast.

In a world where it’s not favorable to live contrary to the majority’s bad decisions, immoral lifestyles and illicit actions be encouraged today that in your purposeful Resilience in trusting and following God's way, there will be an impactful observance with the very ones who wanted you to acquiesce in doubting God's faithfulness, power, and promises.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were living in the midst of idol worship, immoral practices, illicit actions and so much more but they didn’t allow their location to dictate their loyalty to God.

These three young men were Resilient in the face of peer pressure, hate, deceit, mockery, and heated circumstances. These young men did not yield in turning away from God to please people, they turned away from people in order to please God.

Although King Nebuchadnezzar gave the decree that anyone who didn’t fall down and worship the golden image he made would be immediately thrown into a furnace of blazing fire; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego remained Resilient in front of countless individuals.

King Nebuchadnezzar ordered that the young men be thrown into the blazing furnace.  Although their situation was hot, uncomfortable, and controversial, the very ones who sought to throw them in the fire couldn't take the heat of Resilience, necessary to stand for God's will, word and way.

God covered, protected, and vindicated Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego because they sought God first. When you are faced with heated situations that seek to reroute you to turn away from God in order to appease and fit in with those who are opposed to God, stand in confident expectation that God sees your Resilience and not only will he save you but he will promote you.  Your experience will powerfully impact others now and later.

Continue to live a life of Resilience with the light of Christ shining within and from you.
