Preparing For The King - Disciple Makers Series #20Näide

The King's Entrance
Thoughts on the message
This is the day Jesus was to be crowned as the king – the coming Messiah. It was foretold by the prophet Zechariah (Zechariah 9:10).
God’s people were not ready. His city was not ready. The leaders did not want Him.
Some were ready – and they had a great day celebrating!
If Jesus came back today, would you be ready? Or has life kept you so busy that you would be taken by surprise? Start today by making sure that your heart is clean, you have forgiven anyone who needs forgiveness, and you have a song of joy in your heart. It will be a great day – even if He chooses to wait another day.
Prayer
Father, today I want a song in my heart. I know that a song of joy will bubble up from within and out into my life and my world. It starts with a clean heart. So clean my heart from any frustration, any wounding and any unforgiveness. Then fill my mouth with good things – good words, blessings, hope and celebration of my King! In Jesus’ name Amen.
