Find Hope: Matthew 1-4Muestra

A Call to Love
What do you imagine God’s kingdom to be filled with? A dreamy tropical villa or endless banquet feasting? It’s not nice things, or nice places—although certainly there will be those things too! The kingdom of heaven is a perfect dwelling of God’s people—fully united to Jesus.
The kingdom of God is all about people.
As followers of Jesus, we are no longer only concerned with the here and now, but having the mind of Christ, we are concerned with matters of eternity. Our hearts are for people, not things. We become “fishers of men,” just like Jesus’ first disciples.
We all long for connection—to love and to be loved. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit created humanity in its likeness. Out of their perfect, loving relationship new life was formed. God first loved us, so that we could love others.
Jesus is calling you to love Him and love others. The relationships you have with your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues are a gift from God and an opportunity to display Christ’s love for them.
Who in your life do you long to be in God’s kingdom? Spend some time praying for them.
Today, ponder this: Who has God placed in your life for you to love, serve, and share His kingdom with?

Acerca de este Plan

Find hope in Jesus by exploring the opening chapters of Matthew’s Gospel. These chapters reveal who Jesus is: fully human, fully divine, Immanuel—God with us. He is the beloved Son of God, fulfilling the promises made to Abraham and David. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus not only shows us how to live in the kingdom of God but also makes a way for us to enter it. As His ministry begins with the call to repentance, we see the long-awaited kingdom finally breaking into the world. Hope is here!
