A Family of Worship

DÍA 3 DE 4

Worship is us recognizing God’s love.

Worship is our response to recognizing God’s love, fully revealed in Jesus Christ. As a pastor, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know people from different professions—chefs, doctors, and more. It’s one thing for someone to tell me what they do for a living, but it’s a completely different experience when I actually visit their place of work. Recently, I visited a mechanic’s shop. I saw broken-down cars being brought in, worked on, and driven out like new. It gave me a deeper appreciation for what he does.

In the same way, it’s one thing for God to tell us He loves us, but He didn’t stop there—He showed His love through Jesus. Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, and gave His life for us on the cross. Just as those broken cars were restored, Jesus took our brokenness, our sin, and made us new. He died in our place, but the story doesn’t end there—He conquered death by rising from the grave, offering forgiveness and eternal salvation to all who believe.

God’s love isn’t just an idea—it’s displayed in the greatest sacrifice of all time. When we reflect on the love of Jesus and what He accomplished on the cross, our natural response is worship. True worship flows from a heart that grasps the depth of this love, a love that not only sustains us but redeems us for all eternity.

I believe most parents want to follow God’s way but often lack the tools to do so in our busy lives. My wife and I, along with other parents, have found something that significantly impacts our families.

Question for your Family: How can I help my family recognize and respond to the sacrificial love of Jesus in our daily lives?
