God Is My HelperMuestra
Day One:
While living in this world, we constantly need a helper. When God created man, He made a special helper for Adam, Eve. As it is written in Genesis 2:18: "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him." Eve was Adam's first helper, but unfortunately, that same helper led him toward sin, and as a result of sin, death entered the world. However, God had a great plan to save humanity from sin and death. He Himself came into the world, taking on human form, and showed the way for man to be born again. As Jesus said in John 3:3: "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Being born again is essential for salvation, and after bringing us into new birth, God did not leave us alone. Just as He said about Adam, "It is not good for him to be alone," similarly, after we are born again, He said it is not good for us to be alone either. That's why He came as our helper. The first helper was weak, but now God Himself became the helper for humanity. He promised that when He would leave this world physically, He would send another helper, the Holy Spirit.
In John 16:7, it is written: "It is for your benefit that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you." Now, God Himself, in the form of the Holy Spirit, is always with us to support and guide us in every moment, through every difficulty. As stated in John 16:13: "When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth." The Holy Spirit is our eternal helper at every turn in life, protecting us from sin, challenges, and the deceptions of the world.
God, our Helper, never fails because He is now personally involved in our lives, supporting and guiding us at every step.
