Achieving Victory With JesusMuestra
Eating from the tree of life
“To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7)
When the Lord God created heaven and earth, He also created a beautiful garden, the Garden of Eden. This was to be man’s dwelling place. In this garden was a special tree, the tree of life.
Sadly, the first humans disobeyed their Creator. They wanted to be like Him, knowing good and evil. Their disobedience severely damaged their relationship with the Lord God. He sent them out of the Garden of Eden, so they could no longer eat from the tree of life. They would not live forever.
In the book of Revelation, we see how the Tree of Life has its place in “the paradise of God”. God has created a new, wonderful garden and He invites humans to live there with Him. This is possible only if we have our sins forgiven and our relationship with God restored.
People who remain faithful to Jesus, are granted free access to God’s paradise and to the tree of life. This tree gives people true life. It bears abundant fruit and its leaves heal the nations. It is an image of the future abundance and greatness of living in God’s presence.
Can you imagine living in the same place as the Lord God? How does this idea make you feel?
Acerca de este Plan
In various parts of the Bible, Jesus Christ draws our attention toward the blessings He has in store for believers who endure to the end. These promises are meant to encourage us to “run with endurance the race that is set before us”. For if we do so, we will achieve victory with Jesus!
