The Success of JosephMuestra
The Prison
Now the long-awaited moment of your life has arrived! I'm going to reveal to you the secret of success and how to be a successful man or woman.
There are 5 steps to success:
1. The Lord being with you
2. The Lord being with you
3. The Lord being with you
4. The Lord being with you
5. The Lord being with you
There is no greater secret than this. The Bible does not say that Joseph succeeded in everything he did because of his own strength. It is clear that Joseph did his part: he worked, did not sin, and fulfilled all that was asked of him. We saw that Joseph was obedient to his father from the beginning. But the great secret of Joseph's success is that he had his heart set on the Lord, and because of that, everything he did prospered.
No coach can make you a person who prospers in everything you do. Only the Lord can. Place your hope and wisdom in the right place (Psalm 10:4).
When you see someone in a high position, ask yourself: is that true success? Genuine success comes from God, and any achievement based on human strength alone is only temporary.
Joseph was not in the best place in the world—he was in prison. Once again, he was in the pit, and it was not his fault. Joseph had every reason to be upset with God; yet another disappointment happened. Many times, when we experience something we do not want or think that God would have done differently, we become disappointed with God, leave the church, and throw tantrums.
Joseph knew that God was with him, whether at home, in the pit, or in prison.
When we have this certainty, we do not give up, even when everything seems difficult (Proverbs 19:21).
