More to the StoryMuestra
Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then, summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Romans 12:1–2 again.
- What stands out to you?
- What does it say about the purpose of worship?
- What does it teach us about God's desire for our life?
A: Application
- How would you describe God's pattern versus the world's pattern? Which do you see yourself more in line with?
- What would it look like for you to have your mind renewed? What steps can you take to do that?
- How would your part in God's story change this week if you were to give Jesus control over your thoughts and actions?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about parts of your life you hesitate to give God control. What would it look like to offer your life and align your mind with God's story instead of your own? Then, say thank you for God's mercy and the opportunity to join God's story in worship.

Acerca de este Plan
God's story is not a story meant to be put away on a shelf somewhere, but it's one we're meant to explore and experience because we're deeply connected to it. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at the story of God and see how we can make a difference in our communities because we know there's more to the story.
