In the ShadowsMuestra

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
SHARE YOUR STORY
You've probably been told it's really important to share your story of faith with others. But sometimes we think we don't have a story to tell or we're not ready or experienced enough to share it. But the truth is, you do have stories to share, and you're ready right now! Today's challenge is going to help you identify a part of your story that's worth sharing, and then help you share it. Because sharing your story can help others, but sharing it helps you grow, too!
CHALLENGE
For this challenge, ask a trusted adult, friend, or caregiver if you can share about an experience you've had with prayer. You could do this over the phone or FaceTime, but it would be best to sit down together in conversation.
During your time together, share about a prayer you had that God answered and a prayer you're still waiting on. Together, identify what the experience was like in each situation. Use the opportunity to share that part of your faith story. Ask them to share a story from their life so you can learn from their wisdom.

Acerca de este Plan

As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than running from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at stories that draw us closer to God's light whenever we feel lost in the shadows.
