DÍA 7 DE 10

Lay the Foundation

Read the Scripture passage slowly and reverently. Listen for the word or phrase the Holy Spirit highlights for you.

  • "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." - Collosians 3:3

Sit quietly with the Lord, allowing His truth and His presence to minister to you.

Listen to the song and consider how it carries the message of Collosians 3:3

Invitation to Worship

Read the lyrics, slowly and with intention. Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight a word or phrase for your consideration.

Using the lyrics as inspiration, tell God what’s on your mind.

Listen to the song and sing along, offering your simple, authentic worship to God.

Altar Moment

Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight one or two of the following Invitations for your focus.

Invitations from God:

  • Ask for hiddenness in Christ - Colossians 3:3
  • Acknowledge your need for Jesus - Romans 3:22-24
  • Express desire to meet with Jesus in the secret place - Exodus 33:18-23, Hebrews 12:2, Acts 4:12
  • Rest with Jesus - Psalm 46:10, Mark 6:31
  • Welcome intimacy with Jesus - Mark 6:31
  • Submit to the consecration process (In the secret place, we minister to Jesus and He ministers to us.) - John 17:20-23
  • Accept the commission that follows consecration - Matthew 28:18-20
  • Worship Jesus — King of Kings and Lord of Lords - Revelation 19:11 & 16

Respond to God’s invitation to stretch and grow in faith by asking Him for His help.

Knowing God is with you, listen to the song and worship, once more.

Acerca de este Plan

Altars: An Invitation to Meet With God

An altar moment is a holy encounter. It occurs when we set our heart’s intention on meeting with God and He meets with us. It is an opportunity to acknowledge our need for God, to worship Him, and to call on Him in honesty and vulnerability. It is a place of relationship, surrender, sacrifice, remembrance, communion, joy, asking, being seen, grieving, waiting, and more.
