DÍA 10 DE 21

Day 10: From Scarcity to Generosity:
Proverbs 11:24 (MSG) says, “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” In our world, there is a lot of fear—fear of lack and fear of the future, but God doesn’t want us to live with a scarcity mindset. You may feel as if what you have is not enough—personally, or in regard to the dreams God has put in your heart. What you can do is think about what is in your hand. Even if what you have in your hand is not enough to accomplish your dream, maybe what you have is a seed.

There’s a story in Mark 6 when Jesus was teaching a group of people and a crowd of over 5,000 men had gathered to hear from Him, and as it got late in the day, they became hungry. They were far from any food, so Jesus told the disciples to find something for them to eat. The only thing they could find was a little boy with a lunch of five loaves and two fish. That little boy offered what was in his hand to Jesus, and Jesus blessed it and it multiplied to feed over 5,000 people! They even had 12 baskets left over. A miracle happened in the midst of a situation where there seemed to be lack.

The Bible says in Genesis 8:22 (NLT), “As long as the earth remains there will be planting and harvest.” It also says in Luke 6:38 (NIV), “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” God is more than enough. He is called Jehovah Jireh, which means our provider. Put your trust in the Lord today. Maybe you are believing for a job or provision in some area. The first thing you can do is pray. Ask God for it. Then think of a seed you can sow in faith believing that God will multiply it for a harvest.

We all have a seed to sow. It may not seem like much, but it has the power to multiply. If you need hope, give some hope away. If you need more time, give God the first part of your day. If you need help, pray for someone else. If your finances are lacking, sow a financial seed. This principle works in every nation. There is someone you can impact! There’s always someone on the other side of your obedience.
