Of course, we cannot manage life so that nothing bad happens to us, but we can decide how we will be affected. Leaving victimhood is a step toward a protagonist's life.

Your story is now in your hands, don't give in to pain, disappointments, frustrations, and fear. Before, when you depended on people (even because of the fragility of childhood), you were a supporting actor; now, you are the main actor. Don't shirk your responsibility. Idealizing good outcomes without counting on the wrong choices of others can bring paralyzing marks and disappointments.
