I love the message of this song to the church.

The lyrics above, which are the song’s chorus, were written as a prayer to be sung to our Creator — that the Holy Spirit would breathe out His manifest presence, His abundant life, on our lives, on the church, and throughout the world.

The truth is we need God. We need His mercy. We need His help. We need His perspective. And we need to be like Him — kind, forgiving, and compassionate.

Jesus is the truest answer for every question.

We might not understand everything in life, but when His Spirit breathes, when He speaks His word, His peace, hope, and life will bring the peace and love our hearts desire.

Personally, I’m so thankful that no matter what happens on this earth, Jesus is our eternity. And one day we’ll be joined with our Savior who died for our sins, our brokenness, and every sickness we could ever face.

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
