Will God Judge Me?Muestra
God will avenge His children
“Rejoice with Him, O heavens;
bow down to Him, all gods,
for He avenges the blood of His children
and takes vengeance on His adversaries.” (Deuteronomy 32:43)
God tells us not to seek revenge but to love our enemies as ourselves (Leviticus 19:18). This sounds lovely as long as things are going well and we are treated fairly. But what if we are persecuted for our faith, if our village is destroyed by hostile clans, or if our children are murdered…? How can we just love our enemies in such situations? It’s important to note the words that God adds to this commandment: “I am the Lord”.
He is the Ruler of the universe who will execute righteousness. We don’t need to avenge ourselves, for our heavenly Father will judge fairly. We can trust that He won’t leave injustice unpunished. Believers can even long for this to happen soon, as the book of Revelation shows us: “They cried out with a loud voice, ‘O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’” (Revelation 6:10). The Bible is realistic here. Nobody can just forget about the injustice done to himself or to his loved ones. But since we know that God will take vengeance, we can commit our cause to Him and leave judgment to Him.
Have you been treated unfairly? How did you respond?

Acerca de este Plan
The Bible tells us that God will judge humanity. What does this mean? Is God’s judgment something to be afraid of? Yes- it is if you don’t believe in Jesus Christ. But if your sins have been forgiven, God’s judgment is instead something to look forward to! This plan explains why.
