One day as I readied to soon become wed
An angel appeared, and “Do not fear,” he said.
He promised that I would be pregnant quite soon
The King of all Kings as the child in my womb.
His name would be Jesus, His people to save.
Believing the words, I then had to be brave.
But God cares for sparrows and keeps them in sight.
Much more does He care for me with His great might.
I picked up a broken rust pottery piece
A symbol the potter creates what He’ll please.
When struggling to trust God and follow His lead,
I choose to believe that His plans will succeed.
