WILD

“The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.” - Psalm 145:8-9

No matter our age or generational category, most of us can relate to feeling unworthy of God’s love. We’re human. We fail others, we fail ourselves, and we fail God. At some point in life, we’re all going to fall short. The beautiful thing about God is that His love for us isn’t an obligation; it isn’t based on our own merit, and it has no limitations. Not only does God choose to love us, but He loves us at our absolute worst, when we think we don’t deserve it. When we see ourselves as blemished, broken failures, He washes us in His mercy, covers us in His grace and calls us beautiful. His love constantly pursues us, follows us, and chases us down. We can’t outrun it, we can’t exhaust it, and we can’t measure it. The way God loves us is so vast, it’s almost impossible to comprehend. This is why we respond with praise. This is why we lift up our voices in worship and sing of His incredible love.
