Pitfalls To Avoid In Kingdom Living - Disciple Makers Series #8Sample
We must accept Jesus' word of authority and walk by faith
Thoughts on this passage
How much do we require of God before we walk by faith?
This man (a Roman) just needed a word. He knew what authority was and how it worked. A word spoken by one in authority gets done. That is an understanding of faith that is much greater than most of us possess.
What has God spoken to you about recently?
Have you walked in faith that God will do it?
Time to Pray
Father, I need to be that person. I need to know that Your word is all I need. I love to read this story because it speaks so clearly to an area in my life that is weak. So help me listen clearly. Strengthen my heart greatly to believe and walk in faith. Help me to not look back and wonder if You will keep Your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
