God works for you Do you eat in a great big hurry? Maybe you eat so quickly that afterward you can't even remember how the food tasted? I guess I don't think it matters too terribly much if you're either the tortoise or the hare when it comes to eating. What I fear more is that you inhale familiar Bible passages and never get to enjoy them. So today let's chew on God's Word from Romans 8:28 and savor what He has to say. "We know: God never makes you guess. That all things: Not just in some things, but everything. Every little thing. Every big thing. [God works] together: He is not sitting in heaven watching you scurry around. He is actively involved in your life. for the good of those who love God: Even what seems like bad things will ultimately work out for your benefit. those whom He has called: He handpicked you. according to His plan": to bring Him glory and to bring you closer to Jesus. Taking time to savor God's Word is good. Maybe that's why King David said, "How sweet the taste of your promise is! It tastes sweeter than honey" (Psalm 119:103).
