Bible Survey: Part ThreeSample
Chapters 3 through 5 continue to tell of Christ’s coming Kingdom and complain of Judah’s refusal to listen to God. In today’s chapter we are told of when God told Isaiah that He wanted Isaiah to be His prophet. When Isaiah experienced God’s presence, he was overwhelmed with his own sinfulness.
Worship is sometimes telling God how great He is, but sometimes it’s recognizing how far we are from His holiness. Thankfully Jesus took on our sin so we can come into God’s presence as righteous. As 2 Corinthians 5:21 says,”For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
