King of Kings: 5-Day Easter & Good Friday StudySample

Jesus Defeated Death—Are You Living Like It Matters?
Everyone dies—but not everyone truly lives. The Resurrection of Jesus changes everything, not just for Him, but for you. His victory over the grave guarantees your future resurrection, proving that death is not the end but the beginning of eternal life.
If you belong to Christ, you don’t have to live in fear—you can face the future with confidence, knowing that just as He rose, so will you.
This hope isn’t wishful thinking—it’s a promise. Those who come into God’s family will be joined to Jesus in His death and resurrection life (Rom. 6:3-5). Regarding our future, Jesus’ Resurrection is the precedent and pattern of our own: “Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” 1 Cor. 15:20. As His body was resurrected in complete health, so too will we rise and never experience pain, injury, or death again.
Through the Resurrection, Jesus has put death to death. Because He rose physically, we see that God, through Christ, intends to restore all that was lost in the Fall. Our eternity will be spent in a world much like Eden, reclaimed and renewed through Jesus’ victory. This changes everything—not just how we die, but how we live.
Because Jesus lives, so will you. His resurrection is not just a past event—it’s your future reality. Free from pain, sin, and death forever. This truth doesn’t just shape how you die; it transforms how you live.
Are you living in light of the Resurrection?
