Prayer Initiative : RevelationSample

Here we are, in the last chapters of the book of Revelation. In the last chapters of the Bible. We arrived. "It's done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Hasn't it been quite a journey?!
Finally, after so much tension while traveling through the end of times, we came to our destination. What a relief. What a comfort. What a delight. We are in paradise.
Apostle John tried his best to describe the indescribable for us. It is a new heaven and a new earth. Nothing is like it used to be before. There is no more death, no more mourning, no more pain or crying, nothing impure or deceitful in this place, no curse, no night, no evil at all.
Enter the New Jerusalem and walk on its streets of gold. Revel in its beauty, admire the gates of pearl, the walls adorned with rubies, sapphire, chrysolite, beryl, and topaz. Bask in the light. Take a walk down the river of Life. Drink from it and eat from the Tree of Life because your name is written in the Book of Life. You belong here.
Then walk a little further and look at the Face of God. Can you believe you see His Face?! You are His and He is yours, forever and ever. Amen.
Take a moment to ponder on what you've read and respond to God in prayer.

About this Plan

Welcome to the 21 days of prayer initiative! This prayer guide is not meant to give a thorough exegesis of Revelation. Rather, it is a prompting to draw you closer to God. Consider His majesty, recognize His justice, and bow in awe before the King of kings and Lord of lords.
