God's FaithfulnessSample

True
Faithfulness comes from the Hebrew root word ‘emet’ meaning ‘true’. In fact, the word ‘Amen’ is closely related to this word and simply means, ‘truly’ or ‘that’s true’. When we say God is faithful, we are saying that His character is true, that His Word is true, and that His promises are true. As believers, it can sometimes be difficult to believe in God’s faithfulness and sometimes we get confused as to what faithfulness really is. When we say God is faithful, we’re saying that God keeps His promises and is always true to His character. That’s one reason it’s so important that scripture has been written down so that we can remember and recall all the times that God has kept His promises.
It’s one thing to know that God is faithful, but it’s another thing to remember His faithfulness through the scriptures. When we declare God is faithful, we’re declaring our trust that He will act according to His promises and His character regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. It’s important to note that we don’t measure God’s faithfulness by how well our lives are going or how many of our prayers are answered. God’s faithfulness is measured on His unfailing Word not on our ever-changing circumstances or feelings.
Let’s recall today God’s faithfulness and find peace in the assurance of His steadfast and unchanging love for us. Amen.
