Walk It Out

Have you ever known something is meant for you but hesitated to take that first step? It’s one thing to know your purpose, but it’s a whole different challenge to walk boldly in it. Sometimes, knowing your purpose isn’t enough. It takes courage to live it out, especially when fear or doubt try to hold you back.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” This verse shows us that God created us with intention and purpose. But knowing that doesn’t always make it easy to take action. You may find yourself wondering, “Am I really capable of doing this?” or “What if I fail?”

The truth is, that fear doesn’t have to stop us from moving forward. Just because you feel scared or uncertain doesn’t mean you’re not walking in your purpose. Remember, courage is not the absence of fear—it’s the decision to move forward despite it.

Consider Joshua, who was called by God to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. He faced challenges and uncertainty, but God told him, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). God didn’t say Joshua wouldn’t face struggles, but He promised to be with him every step of the way. And He makes that same promise to us.

God has a purpose for your life, and He is with you as you step out in faith. It’s normal to feel uncertain... but don’t let that stop you. The more you take those steps, the more you’ll be able to launch into the person God has created you to be.

Dear God, thank You for creating me with a purpose and for always being with me. Help me to step out in courage, trusting that You will guide me every step of the way. Amen.
