The Holy Spirit, & Sharing Jesus

Sharing Jesus can feel overwhelming. Maybe you think, ‘I don’t have the right words’ or ‘What if I mess it up?’ But here’s the truth—God never intended for you to do it alone! Jesus promised, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8).

The Holy Spirit is your Helper (John 14:26). He gives you wisdom, courage, and the right words at the right time. You don’t have to force conversations or make things happen on your own. Instead, you get to partner with God in what He’s already doing.

At yesHEis, we hear incredible stories of ordinary people sharing Jesus in everyday moments. A simple faith conversation with a colleague. Offering to pray with a friend in their time of need. Sharing your faith story with a classmate. These aren’t dramatic, stage-worthy events. They’re small, Spirit-led moments that change lives.

Think about that—God wants to use YOU! He’s placed you in your family, workplace, and community for a reason. Your role isn’t to convince people; it’s to respond to His prompting.

Today, start with a simple question: Holy Spirit, what are You already doing around me? How can I join You?

Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Helper. Open my eyes to see where You’re working. Give me the courage to step into the opportunities You place in front of me. I want to partner with You! Amen.
