Creating a Culture of Gospel Multiplication // Gospel X - Multiplying the Gospel

DAY 1 OF 7

A culture is a social behaviour of a particular group of people. A culture of gospel multiplication means to have a habit of sharing the gospel as a particular group. This group can be a church or another form of Christian community. Once a certain behaviour starts to become a habit in a group, new people in that group will adapt to this habit and behaviour. Once this happens, a culture is established.

This culture of gospel multiplication is biblically intended. The Great Commission Jesus gave his followers in the end focuses on this: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Mt 28.18-20a). One of the great tasks of every follower of Jesus is to make disciples. That means, part of Christian living is to share the gospel and disciple new believers. Jesus is not giving this commission to some few select, but to all of his followers. Some believers have gifts and talents that make it easier for them, but everyone is called to add his or her part.

The great thing about his commission is often ignored; it is the last part: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mt 28.20b). Jesus promised you that He will always be there. You will not need to do it on your own or face challenges on your own. Jesus will be with you. Every time you share the gospel, He is with you. He will help you, give you the right words, encourage you, and comfort you. You are not alone.

Day 2

About this Plan

Creating a Culture of Gospel Multiplication // Gospel X - Multiplying the Gospel

Jesus left the church the vision of a movement when he challenged us to reproduce from our own Jerusalem into “Judea, Samaria and the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). For us to see a movement, we need every Christ follower to adopt Jesus' personal mission to “seek and save the lost.” (Luke 19:10). Evangelism is core to the mission of Jesus and essential to accomplishing his vision. This plan is part of a 5-week journey on the topic of Gospel X - Multiplying the gospel.
