Day 5: Surrendering Worry and Anxiety
Worry and anxiety can weigh heavily on our hearts, clouding our ability to trust God. Philippians 4:6-7 calls us to bring our concerns to God through prayer, releasing them to Him with thanksgiving. God’s peace fills our minds and hearts when we surrender our anxieties. This peace guards us, allowing us to live in faith rather than fear.
Surrendering worry is a daily practice of casting our cares upon the Lord. Today, identify specific concerns you need to lay before God, asking Him to replace them with His peace. By surrendering our anxieties, we open ourselves to experiencing God’s faithfulness and provision.
Prayer Focus:
Pray for the strength to lay down your concerns at God’s feet, trusting Him to provide for every need.
