God Is My Helper

DAY 5 OF 5

Day Five:

Psalm 54:4
"Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me."

God's help is not limited to our daily lives, nor can we say that He only helps us with small or big matters. In fact, His help is present in every moment and aspect of our lives. Even when we strive to understand His Word, God assists us with His wisdom and power. God's Word, filled with divine mysteries and truths, is not easy for the human mind to grasp. But when we sincerely seek to understand it, God guides us, enlightens our minds, and opens our spiritual eyes so we can comprehend its deeper truths.

As I mentioned on the first day, God has placed helpers in our lives to guide us along the way. One day, I was reflecting on Genesis 2:18, which says: "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him."

While reading this verse, God opened my mind and taught me a profound truth. In the beginning, the first helper was the woman, Eve, who fell into sin, revealing her weakness. But for the new creation, God Himself became our Helper! This was a great mystery that God revealed to me. We see that even when the prophet Daniel was struggling to understand the mysteries of God's Word concerning the people of Israel, God sent His angel to explain it to him.

My dear friends, when you set your heart to learn and understand God's Word, He is always ready to help you. He opens your heart and mind so you can better grasp His truths. Sometimes, He even sends angels, just as He did with Daniel, to guide you and make things clear.

There is another important reality here: no human being can help you the way God can. Now, as new creations in Christ, God Himself is our Helper. He is with us in every moment of our lives, understanding our struggles, and giving us the strength to live according to His Word.

So, let us hold on to this truth: when we turn to God, ask for His help, and seek to dive deeper into His Word, He is always near us. We should never feel alone because our God is our true Helper.

Amen!
