Live Like Jesus

Jesus living in us gives us the power to live for him. The old identity passes away and God’s transformational work is underway. Your heart, mind, thoughts and attitudes will be changed. You have been set free from your sin and can now become everything that God designed you to be.

God made each one of us unique; He has a purpose and a path he wants us to follow. He doesn't want us to cave in to pressure. Establishing a healthy identity in Christ, helps you live like Jesus. Living like Jesus requires that you pay attention to three things – what you Think, Say and Do.

• Do I THINK like Jesus? – Sometimes our old ways of thinking steal our new identity and leave us discouraged, pessimistic, and negative. Jesus wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Right thoughts lead to positive words.
• Do I TALK like Jesus? – Sometimes the old words we spoke bring death instead of life. Jesus wants us to say only that which builds people up, including ourselves. Positive words lead to Godly actions.
• Do I ACT like Jesus? – Sometimes our old ways of doing things prevent us from making changes we want to make. We get stuck in old habits that tear us down. God wants us to honor Him by presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice. Godly habits lead to the true you.

If you want to live like Jesus you will need to seek Him first. Ask Him to transform the way you think, the words you speak, and the things you do.

Father, help me be the person You have made me to be. Amen.
