A Message From the KingdomSample
A Message From the Kingdom
IN THE HEAVENLY THRONE ROOM
MAIN IDEAS
• After getting the message for the Church regarding the return of Jesus, John is taken by the Spirit and is introduced to the atmosphere in the heavenly Throne Room.
• The Throne Room is overwhelmed by the perfect glory of God’s presence, with an atmosphere of worship and praise, brought to Him by the spiritual beings present there.
• All beings in heaven feel deep reverence for God, the Creator and Master of all things.
Along with the message to the Church, JESUS also wants John to convey a description of the place where GOD reigns, the Throne Room in heaven. In the presence of God the Father, he sees the people of God from the Old and the New Covenant, represented by twenty-four elders who are dressed in white clothing and golden crowns and sit on thrones. Four living creatures represent all the beings God ever created. The Holy Spirit is also present and is represented by the seven flaming torches, while the throne is surrounded by a rainbow – the sign of the covenant God had made with man, by which He had promised never to destroy the earth with water again.
At this time, we cannot see our Lord JESUS anywhere, and the entire setting somehow anticipates a ceremony that will concern the end of times. The atmosphere in the Throne Room is one of worship and praise, brought to GOD who was, is, and will come. The motivation behind the heavenly praise and worship is that GOD created all things, and through His will, they all live and have been made. This means that He is in full control over the entire Creation and all things work exclusively according to His will.
JESUS means to tell all His followers on earth that He is with the Father and that the heavenly Father has full control over the entire Creation. His will shall be done in all aspects, including the end of the kingdom of this world.
