Loving God,
As we come before Your Word, we seek Your Spirit to enlighten our hearts and minds. In the psalms, may we grasp the depth of Your deliverance and strength, seeing Your mighty hand at work in our lives. As we read from Deuteronomy, help us understand the justice and mercy woven into Your law, revealing Your heart for redemption. In 2 Corinthians, open our hearts to the truth of comfort and reconciliation, showing us the path to genuine love and restoration.
May Your Word shape us, revealing Your presence in both our suffering and joy. Lead us, O God, into a deeper understanding of who You are and who You call us to be. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
About this Plan
This is the sixth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for 1 Corinthians 13 (The Love Chapter), and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
