I Feel I Am Not Acceptable to God and PeopleSample
What and how is God thinking about you?
Jesus died for you. Think for a moment about it. Did he die for me? Do you know of anyone who would do this for you? And yet Jesus did it. But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Rom.5:8). Even before we chose him, he had already paid the price for our sins and demonstrated his incredible love for us.
God wants you with Him in heaven forever. Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. He gives you eternal life as a gift. Accept its truth and reality.
He wants you to be his disciple, and he knows that you can do it. He trusts you. You have to go and tell those who are broken, rejected, and unacceptable about him and help them to become his disciples. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts.1:8).
The Spirit of Jesus, God the Holy Spirit, abides in you: You did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children (Romans 8:15-16).
He created you to do good works. You're not here by accident. He created you with a purpose. He has given you talents and gifts of the Holy Spirit so that you can help others: For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life (Eph.2:10).
You have a Father who wants to forgive your sins and set you free from all guilt and everything that makes you feel shame. He wants to forgive the past with all your guilt, shame, and self-condemnation. "I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people… And: "I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty" (2 Cor.6:17b-18).
He knows your circumstances and will make a path for you even if you can't see the road and think there is no path. In Isaiah 43:16, we read of the LORD, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the surging waters.
Trust God. He is on your side. He is your Father.
About this Plan
So, I often feel like the odd one out. Some of my friends and family do not really accept me—they probably just tolerate me. Sometimes, when I look at my life, I do not accept myself. I do not want to continue to live like this!
