Psalm 127 Warriors (1)

DAY 3 OF 3

Day 3: The Blessing of Children as a Heritage of the Lord

Our children are a heritage from the Lord and a reward from Him, as Psalm 127:3 reminds us. Do you see your children as a “gift” from God? They are not just responsibilities; they are precious fruits that spring forth from our wombs, entrusted to us by God. Like a potter with clay, we have the privilege of shaping their lives, molding them into respectful and powerful individuals who can be sent into the world as arrows of light (Psalm 127:4-5). Our goal is not for them to conform to this world, but to transform it through the love and truth of Christ.

Every day, we are called to the parental battlefield, tasked with training our young soldiers to embrace and fulfill God's plans for their lives. It is an honor and a sacred duty. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Our role as parents is to love them, teach them the ways of the Lord, and guide them in a manner that honors God.

I encourage you to see your children as the valuable treasures they are and to parent them with the wisdom and grace that God provides. Ephesians 6:4 advises, "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." By doing so, we honor God's gift and fulfill our divine calling as parents.

Take a moment to thank God for the precious gifts He has entrusted to you. Then, ask the Lord to help you see your children through His eyes. Finally, seek His guidance in humbly stewarding these gifts with wisdom and grace.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the precious gifts You have given us. We are deeply grateful for the honor and responsibility of raising them. Please grant us the ability to see our children as You do and fill us with the wisdom to parent them according to Your will for their lives. Help us, dear Lord, to be the parents You need us to be for them. In the name of Jesus the Messiah, we pray.

Amen.

Meditation:

I am fruitful. My womb births great rewards. My children are gifts from the Lord.
