Walk On Water Again
As I walk in and out of various spaces and atmospheres, I realize that so much is absorbed into the mind and spirit. Songs and jingles that I don’t even like, I find myself singing. Conversations that I despise, I catch myself engaged. The world is like an ocean of distractions. The enemy will use anything at his disposal in an attempt to get us to take our eyes off Christ. Although the outright, negative strategies are more easily identified, it is the subtle schemes, oftentimes, disguised as something good that can slip past our spiritual prowess. I have learned that even when we make a miscall or misjudgment, we must realign our focus and continue moving forward in God. We cannot allow past mistakes to infringe upon our future blessings. The devil will use former things to prevent us from walking into our miracle, even if it is by means of taking away our confidence in our ability to make sound decisions. But, it is imperative that we trust God and launch out, AGAIN. This time, we know a distraction is coming. This time, we already know God is there. This time, the fear of the waves will not interrupt the flow of the Holy Spirit at work inside of us. Now, go ahead, believe God, and walk on the water again!

About this Plan
This 8-day devotional is taken from a printed book collection 90-day devotional. Arise & Shine is not about fluff, but presents real-life situations and challenges and motivates us to work through them to become better for the Kingdom. The enemy wants to render us stagnate. If he can’t turn us away from God, he desires to keep us wavering in our faith, dwelling on the same negative thoughts, and responding to difficulty in the same manner. But it is high time. It is your time. This is your season to arise and shine for God!
