God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 2 – Day 4
Every facet of our society—families, friends, work, churches, and schools—is centered around relationships, but these relationships vary. The relationship between an employer and an employee is very different than the relationship between two friends. One involves a layer of authority and respect.
In every relationship, we are called to show the love of Christ. When there are authority structures at play, that love may look different depending on your role. Those in positions of authority are never to mistreat their subordinates or lord power over them. Those in positions of submission are never to act out in rebellion.
Think of the relationships in your life and the position you hold in each of them. Ask yourself, “Am I showing Christ’s love to the other person involved?”
