The Seven Gates of GraceSample
The Golden Door
We are used to buying many things online: it is convenient, practical, and convenient. Sometimes, the courier arrives and, knocking on the door, finds no one home, and the package returns to the sender.
Maybe you find a kind courier who makes a couple more attempts, after which the package heads back on its way home.
Today, I want to talk to you about a particular "package"; we don't know his name, but we know that he was lame. Every day, he was carried on someone's shoulders and was placed at the door called Porta Bella, also known as the Door of Mercy.
So, every day of his life for years and years, he waited for someone to give him some gold or silver, perhaps to go to a good doctor who could get him back on his feet. Unfortunately, he only recovered the sum necessary to live and to pay the "courier" who brought him to that door.
But one day, there was a turning point. Two men, Peter and John, spoke the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
Miraculously, the lame man received new, strong, and vigorous legs, so much so that he had the strength to cross the door of Mercy and finally reach his divine destination, the place of God's presence.
Jesus is the One who transforms, liberates, heals, but above all, makes us worthy of entering the presence of God in the holy place of his dwelling.
So, he stops being a package and waiting for someone to shower you with gold and silver to become someone. You are loved by Jesus. Enter into the presence of God and enjoy the moment of his presence.
