To Never Be Alone Again!Sample
Day 3
Certainly, Jesus is our faithful friend, but He also wants to be our place of protection. This leads us to the third principle: Jesus doesn't just alleviate our loneliness but also any fear we may experience.
While the Christian life begins with Jesus residing in our hearts, it doesn't end there. If it did, the Bible wouldn't emphasize making Jesus our refuge and place of protection.
Having Jesus in our hearts assures us of eternal life, but to live the ABUNDANT LIFE (as mentioned on Day 1), a life Jesus desires for us—limitless and without loneliness on Earth—we must each surrender to Him.
It's not just about letting Him in but giving Him our lives.
Living in Him, making Him our refuge and stronghold.
Thanks to God, Jesus Christ is already with us. To never feel lonely again, we must seek Him as our refuge, for He alone can provide true protection.
"It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights." Psalm 18:32-33 GNT
Reflect:
- How do you feel knowing Jesus wants to be not just your friend but also your refuge?
Practical application:
- When loneliness strikes, turn to your refuge—Jesus.
- How? Pray, read His Word, and make Bible study a lifestyle. This habit will shield you from loneliness.
And remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH YOU.
God bless you!
